Thanks for the detailed information on the problem you reported. It is a GALILEO issue and we have contacted them for a resolution.

In the meantime, I suggest you use our LibGuides to access the research you need. Our LibGuides will link you directly to the important resources. LibGuides are comprehensive, including all of the GALILEO resources plus additional resources selected by your professors.

The LibGuides are listed in full here: You will note specific guides for students in the College of Education, College of Business and Mass Comm, College of Health and Science, and College of Fine Arts and Humanities. If you just want to get to a specific database, click our Databases A-Z LibGuide. We suggest you bookmark your guide for easy access.

Once on the LibGuide, you will see tabs for books, articles, web sites and more. Click the appropriate tab and click the resource you want to access, for example Academic Search Complete or Research Library for articles.

Instead of the GALILEO password that changes frequently, use your 6 digit student ID number. This is the same number you use to access CampusWeb to register for classes. If you don't have it handy, it is available in Blackboard>Personal Information>Edit Personal Information. You will also use your username, the part of your email address before the @, for example jdoe1. This password is yours for your entire Brenau career and will not change.

Please let me know if us have any questions.
