While there are a few trade publications covering waste disposal in general, a better strategy would be to search the medical literature for current articles on waste disposal in hospitals.

I suggest you start with the Nursing LibGuide at . Click the articles tab. Most of the resources listed under Nursing Articles / Nursing Journals would be helpful. CINAHL Plus with Full Text is a good starting point. Click the link and put in the password information when requested (the first part of your Brenau email address and the 6 number PIN you use for CampusWeb). Try searching "medical waste disposal". Include the quotation marks. They will focus the results and eliminate clutter. Once you have results, use the tools in the blue toolbar on the left side to limit them to full text, academic journals, and the last 5 years. This should produce around 150 relevant results. You can further focus the results by changing up your search to "Medical Waste Disposal" AND hospital . This returns about 23 full text results published in academic journals in the last 5 years.

If you don't find what you need there, try one of the other databases listed.
