How do I find scholarly resources about how assets - intellectual and intangible property - affect a company or an industry's debt ratios?

I'm trying to research the following topics and I'm having a hard time finding a book or article. Where should I start? Companies and industries that have high proportions of physical assets tend to have higher debt ratios than companies whose assets are more heavily intellectual and intangible property.

You should start with the Business Libguide!
Go to
Choose the Business Libguide. Once you've clicked on it, you can decide what kind of resource you need. Click the yellow "Books" tab at the top and you can search the library catalog for books and ebook related to debt ratios and the types of assets a company has. The ebooks are fully accessable online. Look for the catalog listings that say "online content" at the bottom.
Try a Boolean search for something like assets AND debt (make sure to capitalize the AND.)
Once you have done some searching in books, use the Articles tab to find journal articles. You'll see several strong Busness databases listed like Business Source Complete. Click into the different databases and try searching for key terms from your thesis statement, like "debt ratio" and assets.
