Hi Emily! Try this site: https://libguides.brenau.edu/gradnursing . On the main page, look for the "START HERE" box. That has databases that are useful for nursing research. ScienceDirect is one of them. However, I usually advise starting with CINAHL Plus. That's a nursing-specific database and may be easier to find what you need.
In the search box, enter "prescription drugs" in quotes and hit Enter. You should get over 15000 search results. You might want to narrow that down by adding more terms that tell the database what you want to know about drugs. For example, let's say you want to know about how a drug interacts with a disease. Try combining those terms, like diabetes AND statins. That should give you a few thousand articles on the topic. Then you can narrow to peer-reviewed only, and narrow by the year of publication to get recent articles.
