HELP!
I am working on a project to train Standardized Patients through the drama department. I am struggling finding info on how to teach them.

Hi Elizabeth,

Looks like we have the Manual of Simulation in Healthcare in our ebooks: https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/brenauuniv/detail.action?docID=4310751 as well as Human Simulation for Nursing and Health Professionals https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&AuthType=ip,shib&db=nlebk&AN=410570&scope=site&custid=bre1&ebv=EB&ppid=pp_Cover

Both texts have information on the training process.

Here is an open-access journal article that is dated, but may still be helpful: https://www.mededportal.org/doi/full/10.15766/mep_2374-8265.172

I also found this: Professional Development and Certificate Programs for Standardized Patient Educators https://chicago.medicine.uic.edu/departments/academic-departments/medical-education/dme-educational-programs/certificate-programs/standardized-patient-educator/ you may be able to glean some helpful information.

Good Luck!!
