The topic of social anxiety is a large topic. I would suggest narrowing your interests before beginning research. Perhaps you are interested in social anxiety in teenagers.

To locate books use the catalog searching tool from the main page of the All-Purpose Research Guide. Search social anxiety AND teens (be sure to include the AND). 

For articles choose the "Articles" tab on the left side of the All-Purpose Research Guide screen, choose Academic Search Complete and search social anxiety AND teens. You can use the tools on the left of the research results screen to limit your search to full-text, scholarly, and date limits.
