Hello,

It would be helpful if we could know what your research topic is so we can direct you to the appropriate database to research your specific topic.  But, we can still help by getting you into a database and showing you how to find more recent articles.

First pick a libguide.  I see that you are a business major so start at the Business Administration libguide by going to libguides.brenau.edu/business.  Next click on the articles tab to the left of your screen.  This will take you to a page with business databases.  If you scroll down the page you will see a box titled Articles.  Choose the database called Business Source Complete.  You will be asked to enter your Brenau username and password.  Before you enter your search terms scroll down the page and click on the Full Text box under Limit Your Results.  You can also limit to Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) here and you can limit publication date by entering year ranges in the Published Date boxes.  If your professor wants you to find articles that are very recent then limit your research to the last five years by entering 2013 in the first box and 2018 in the last.  We hope that this is helpful for you.
