Where do I find the ISSN number on a journal article?

I am requesting an journal article through interlibrary loan and the loan form online asks for the ISSN.

If, in the results list, you click on the title of the article (not the PDF full text, but the linked title), and then click on the title of the journal, the database will sometimes give you the ISSN. Don't let this be a stumbling block though! It can be hard to find the ISSN, so it's not a required field for interlibrary loan. If you can't easily find it, we'll look for it ourselves. All part of the service!
