Scroll down the page to the box labeled Country & Cultural Information.  Here you will find several links to databases and websites where you will be able to find extensive information on both of your countries including background information, economic history, current economic structure, international trade, and future outlook.  I recommend starting with Culture Grams to get a good overview and then moving on to Country Watch Country Reviews where you will find good economic information.  You will also find good information in the CIA World Fact Book.
