Hello,

I think that that sounds like an awful lot for this little paper. The first thing you need to think about is how much information can you fit into this short paper you've been assigned. The second thing you want to think about is whether your topic has been researched by others before you. If no one has researched your topic before you, you won't be able to use your topic for this paper because there won't be a book, a scholarly journal article, or a website about your topic.

I am not positive since I haven't done the research but my guess is that there will not be a lot of research on classroom size over time but that there will be research on something more along the lines of classroom size AND student achievement. You could also look at something like education AND technology or No child left behind AND pros AND cons. You don't have to go with one of these topics but they are examples of topics that involve education that I think are narrow enough and also are likely to have been researched before which will be important considerations for you in choosing a topic.
