If you are writing a paragraph with multiple sentences using one reference do you have to cite every sentence or is there another way to do it?

Hello,

You can use a bookending technique wherein you cite your source the first time you use it in a sentence and then again in the last sentence in which you use the source.  Be sure only to do this within one paragraph and if the paragraph is really long, you may want to throw an extra intext citation in somewhere in the middle.
