Hello!
This is a good question with a bit of a convulted answer. First, you should know that there is no such thing as a scholarly website. There are reliable websites and unreliable websites but not scholarly ones. Next, you should know that certain types of websites are more reliable than others. For instance, I like to use .gov and .edu websites when doing research because these are governmental and usually university sponsered sites.
One way that you can google for only governemental or only university sites is to go to google and type
site:gov or site:edu and whatever your search terms are. For example, to search on this topic, I went to Google and typed:
site:gov social media and influence
exactly as I typed it above. I found some interesting results including a website with information on Impact of Social Media on Teens' Well-Being .
I found another interesting website when I searched site:edu social media and influence with information on Experts explore how social networks can influence behavior... as well as The Influence of Social Media on Adolescent Behavior.
