Hello,

To find sources for your assignment, link to the Project Management LibGuide. On the gold Resources for PM tab, you'll see several good sources. Start with ABI/Inform Complete. Search "Iterative process" AND project management. Include the quotation marks and the AND, and check your spelling for the best results. Using the left side toolbar, limit the results to the last 5 years. You'll find about 30 articles from scholarly journals and 10 from trade publications. These include (among others)

  • Zhang, Y., & Fan, Z. (2014). An optimization method for selecting project risk response strategies. International Journal of Project Management, 32(3), 412. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.ijproman.2013.06.006
  • León, H.,C.Mart, Farris, J. A., Letens, G., & Hernandez, A. (2013). An analytical management framework for new product development processes featuring uncertain iterations. Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, 30(1), 45. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jengtecman.2012.11.004

You'll see similarly good results from ScienceDirect, also linked on the page.

If you need the theoretical and background information found in books, scroll down the LibGuide page to the Brenau Discovery Search. Here, searching iterative process AND project management (no quotation marks) works best. You'll see several good ebooks that you can read online, including:

  • Wysocki, R. K. (2009). Effective project management: Traditional, agile, extreme (5th ed.). Indialis, IN: Wiley Pub.
  • Wysocki, R. K. (2014). Effective complex project management: An adaptive agile framework for delivering business value. Plantation, FL: J. Ross Publishing.

Thanks for asking a librarian.
