What type of information do you need about your various professions?
If you want to know information about how to become whichever profession you choose to research, median salary, educational level, number of new jobs projections, etc. a great place to look is the Bureau of Labor Statistics here:
http://www.bls.gov/ooh/
First click on Healthcare in the toolbar on the left and then you will find information on Occupational Health and Safety Specialists. Click on Life, Physical, and Social Science Occupations to find information on Psychologists.
I'm not sure what other type of information you may be seeking but if you are interested in one of these professions and quality of life, I would recommend going into an all purpose database such as Academic Search Complete to do more research. You can get into this database by going to an all purpose libguide at libguides.brenau.edu/allpurpose. Click on the articles tab and then click on Academic Search Complete. You will be asked for your Brenau username and password. Next limit your search by clicking on the full text and scholarly boxes below the search bar. Enter your search terms. I would suggest Psychologists AND "quality of life" or Psychologists AND burnout if you are looking for information on careers and happiness.
I'm not sure what other types of information you are seeking but you should be able to find what you are looking for in the database by simply entering the type of profession with the word AND and then whatever other aspect of the profession you are focusing on.
