Hello. I am working on a discussion question on marketing and need help on how to best narrow by search to get the needed information. There are three questions: why is it not enough for companies to work on attracting new customers? , b) what methods can companies use to retain their existing customers?, and c) what role, if any do databases play in helping companies build relationships with their new and existing customers? Thank you for the help on this.

Hello,

I would start by going to the business administration libguide at libguides.brenau.edu/business.  Next choose the Business-Articles tab.  Click on ABI/Inform and enter your Brenau username and password.  Limit your search by clicking on the full-text box below the search box.  I chose to use search terms such as Value of Customer Retention and Customer Retention AND Marketing.  I also got good results with Retaining Customers and Building Relationships AND Existing Customers.
