The Business Administration LibGuide is the place to start. The Articles tab includes a link to the North American Industry Classification System. The system classifies GA DHS as 9231, Administration of Human Resource Programs. This number and title are the starting points for developing the assignment.

I've spent a fair amount of time searching for the information you need to complete the assignment. We have four databases that are usually very helpful, MarketLine Advantage, ABI/Inform Complete, Business Source Complete, and eStatement Studies. Unfortunately, only one of our databases, eStatement Studies, covers the government sector, which is specialized information. eStatement Studies is linked on the Articles tab of the LibGuide. Click the link, and when the search page loads, click the button for 4-digit code, (Industry Group) and use the drop-down to select 9231 and click view. You will land on the industry description. Click Annual Statement Studies, to the left. Here you'll see FRB Assests, History, and sales. FRB stands for Financial Ratio Benchmark, in other words, the industry benchmarks. You can choose to use national or regional numbers.

This isn't enough information to complete the assignment, so I also searched the web. I didn't find what I needed there, except behind a pay wall. This assignment is most readily completed by choosing a publically held company that generates its own financial statements (its financials aren't rolled up into a holding company). Government entities are really hard to do.
