How many articles do you need? The psycARTICLES database is probably the best place to look at the impact of reality TV on people, and I'm getting about 10 good articles. I searched reality TV and limited the results to the last 10 years. The results included several articles from the journal Psychology of Popular Media Culture:

• Exploring viewers’ responses to nine reality TV subgenres
• The effect of cosmetic surgery reality TV shows on adolescent girls’ body image
• Just 'harmless entertainment'? Effects of surveillance reality TV on physical aggression
• A Snooki effect? An exploration of the surveillance subgenre of reality TV and viewers’ beliefs about the 'real' real world
