I found one! Of course, it was in a database we didn't go into during the class. What can I say? Sometimes we just have to keep searching.
To get to the report, head for the Business LibGuide and click on the Articles Tab. Click on Business Source Complete.
Based on our search of the web, we determined that ICF International was in the NAICS industry category of Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services, NAICS code #541611. Paste 541611 into the box labeled NAICS/Industry Code on the right side of the search page. Next, in the Publication Type check boxes immediately above that, click Industry Profile. Scroll down and click search.
Among the first few results will be ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SVCS (NAICS 541611). United States Industry & Market Outlook. 2015, p1-217. 216p. There is a lot of general material in this report format. Skim the earlier stuff, but the info you really want begins on p. 16.
But wait - there's more! (Not to sound like a TV infomercial, but this is really good!) I continued to scroll through the results list, past reports on Europe and Germany and Italy. On the second page I found this MarketLine Report! Management & Marketing Consultancy Industry Profile: the United States. Jan2015, p1-27. 27p.
It's unusual to find this much industry info (especially something we didn't find in MarketLine!) in this database. Usually we search here for scholarly research analyses. With these, plus the information from MorningStar and eStatements, you'll be in good shape. The last place you may want to go is ABI/Inform Complete - also linked on the LibGuide - to search for articles about factors or concerns noted in the reports.
Good luck with the industry memo!
