Question

Do you have articles on japanese mediation and negotiation?

Details

I will specifically need to know who is designated as a dispute resolver and how people choose someone for the role. Thank you for your assistance.

Good Evening,

I suggest two sources for this research, both accessible through the Conflict Resolution LibGuide at http://libguides.brenau.edu/conflictresolution . This LibGuide contains links to maky of the better CR and ADR resources. Click on the gold Articles tab to access the journals. The first source I suggest is ABI Inform Complete, which provides access to the Journal of Conflict Resolution. Searching japan AND mediation yielded 204 results. Use the right-side toolbar to limit the results to the 35 scholarly journals. Among the results is Yi, H. (2012). Research on mediation specialization in japan. Canadian Social Science, 8(3), 103-106. Retrieved from http://www.cscanada.net/index.php/css  . This article may have the information you need.

Additional articles can be found in this and the other databases listed. My choice to gain additional information would be LexisNexis, also listed on the Articles tab. The same search, japan AND mediation  yielded over 1000 results. Use the left-side toolbar to limit them to the 52 articles in Law Reviews and Journals.

Please let us know if you need additional information.
