Hello!
The first place that I would recommend you begin is in the Occupational Therapy Libguide at libguides.brenau.edu/OT. Once you are in the libguide you can navigate by using the tabs at the top of the page. To look for books and e-books, click on the books tab. In the center of the page you will see the widget to search the Trustee Library Catalog. I entered the search terms Occupational Therapy AND Autism and clicked on the worldcat button to begin my search. You will find that you get many good results for books and e-books using these search terms.
Next, to find scholarly journal articles, navigate to the articles tab in the libguide. In the center of the page you will see a list of recommended databases for you to use when researching Occupational Therapy topics. I decided to try Science Direct which is a databases listed towards the bottom of the Occupational Therapy Articles list. When you click on Science Direct, you will be asked for your Brenau username and password. After you login you will be taken to the main search page for Science Direct. I entered the terms Occupational Therapy AND Autism and limited my results by removing the check mark next to books under refine your search.
I got many good results using these search terms in Science Direct. Remember that only results with a green page symbol next to the title of the article are available full text to students here at Brenau.
We hope that this helps!
