Hello!

We have a brand new database that we just acquired that will be useful for this. Click to our Databases A-Z LibGuide at http://libguides.brenau.edu/A-Z . Click on the C to get to that list. Click on Communication and Mass Media Complete. This is exactly the database you need! You will be asked to log in with your Brenau username and password. Paste ZE "text messages (telephone systems)" AND uses into the search box. Be sure to include the ZE and quotation marks; they're important to the search. I tried ZE "text messages (telephone systems)" AND positive as well as ZE "text messages (telephone systems)" AND benefit, but AND uses returned the best result pool, 58 articles. You could try all three searches if you don't find what you need in the first one. I also limited my search to peer reviewed, full text articles published in the last 5 years.

Among the more interesting articles was Wyber, R., Khashram, M., Donnell, A., & Meyer-Rochow, G. (2013). The gr8est good: Use of text messages between doctors in a tertiary hospital. Journal Of Communication In Healthcare, 6(1), 29-34. doi:10.1179/1753807612Y.0000000019

Good luck with your interesting project.
