It is fairly simple to view an ebook.

Hello!

If you are already in Ebooks on Ebscohost, simply search and locate the book you want. Click on "eBook Full Text" to read and search the book.

If you are using our catalog, go to the library catalog.  At that point, you will be asked to log in, using your Brenau username and password. Search for the book you want to read.  When you have found your book in the list of search results, you will see at the bottom of the information for the book an orange e.  Next to this symbol you will see the words "view now."  This is a link.  Click on it.  Another link pops up-- "view ebook."  Click on that. After that, an a page with abstract of the book, including all its important information for citations, will load.  On the left hand side, you will see some choices to click on.  To view the book, click on "eBook full text."  At that point, you will be able to read the book and search it.

We ask that you not click on "download eBook," because that will cause the book to be "checked out" to you and no one else will be able to view it, even when you aren't using it. Additionally you will have to download extra software just to download the book. However, if you really want to download it, the instructions are in this video: http://youtu.be/fAbmmu94I0g .
