Hello!
A hanging indent is always used for each entry when formatting references in the APA style. Check out this video for instructions on how to create a hanging indent in Word without spacing or tabbing over.
Regarding page numbers for books, when you are citing an entire book, because you used the entire book, no page numbers are needed. When you only used information from a chapter, cite the chapter from the book using this format:
Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (year). Title of chapter. In A. Editor & B. Editor (Eds.), Title of book (pp. XX-XX). Location: Publisher.
If there is no author of the chapter, put the title of the chapter before the date and follow the date with "In A. Editor...". If there is no editor, the entry states "In Title of book...".
This is a good question. Thanks for asking!
