The library has access to a few items that may be of help.  In our print collection, we have Perversion of power : sexual abuse in the Catholic Church by Mary Gail Frawley-O'Dea.  In the library's electronic book collection we have Sexual misconduct and the clergy by Jeffrey Ferro.

In GALILEO, we have articles that may be of help.  For example, in the database Academic Search Complete you can do a boolean search which would look like this: catholic AND "sex abuse" AND Irish.  Make sure to check the box for full text articles.  Several interesting articles will appear, just on this database alone.  One example is: https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&authtype=ip,shib&db=a9h&AN=14977170&site=ehost-live&custid=bre1
