First, go to the libguides at libguides.brenau.edu.  Next scroll down and click on Sciences.  Then choose a science libguide.  I'm not sure what class this is for so I chose the Biology libguide.  Next, click on the General Biology tab.  The first box on this page has a few databases which are good for looking up scientific journal articles in.  Chose Academic Search Complete and then sign in using your Brenau username and password.  Then scroll down and click on the full text box and the scholarly (peer reviewed) box.  Next choose your search terms.  Be sure to connect your search terms with the word AND.  For instance, if your topic is PTSD and serving in the military you might want to use this search string: PTSD AND veterans.
