Right now, all we have is "IBM SPSS Version 21.0". is this sufficient for APA? Should it be italicized? Please help, and thank you!! :-)

Hello,

This is a great question.  I would like to refer you to page 210 in the APA manual.  In section 7.08 the manual states that it is not necessary for you to include a reference entry for standard software and it specifically mentions SPSS as being standard software.  In text, you would give the proper name of the software along with the version number in parenthesis immediately after the title of the software.  You do not italicize the names of software but you do italicize the titles of data sets.
