I need to get a definition from the manual of the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire. I will also need the APA citation for that manual. I can not find the manual. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello!

Have you checked with Ms. Kathy Little in the office of the Psychology Department? The department maintains a collection of instruments, and it may be there. If not, talk with your professor for ideas, or for a work-around. The manuals are tightly controlled; it's not the kind of thing you will find on the web, or in a library.

As for referencing the assessment, the format is:

Author, A. (year). Name of the Assessment [Measurement instrument]. Retrieved from URL

This assumes that the assessment materials were retrieved online. If you have the print version, it would be this:

Author, A. (year). Name of the Assessment [Measurement instrument]. Location: Publisher.

Note that unlike the titles of journal articles, the title of the instrument is capitalized because it is a proper noun.
