Hello, first I would recommend you go to the mass communication libguide at libguides.brenau.edu/masscomm.  From there, you should choose the articles tab which will take you to a list of databases that are good for using when researching communication topics.  I would choose the first database which is ABI/INFORM Complete by ProQuest.  Try some basic searches here.  I tried using the search terms Audience Centered Communication and found at least one usable article.  Please be sure to click the full text and peer reviewed boxes below the search box to retrieve only results which are peer reviewed and that you can read the full text of.  Your search will look something like this:

You can also try some of the other databases listed on the articles page of the libguide.  I tried the second database Business Source Complete and used the search terms Audience Centered AND Communication.  Please remember to check the full text and scholarly(peer reviewed) boxes to the bottom left of the search bar in this database as well.  I hope that this is helpful to you.
