What other words can I put into the search engine? This is my first time using it and I am not getting any results.

Hello! It's not your searching - this information is not readily available as a research study in the time frame we have. Three of us have searched extensively over the last three days, and have not yet located readily available full-text research on concentration in the classroom and outside play. We have searched play and variations such exercise, activity, and recess. We have searched concentration and variations such as attention and academic achievement. We have searched the recent education, the psychology, and the medical literature.
The only results we found came from searching Academic Search Complete (see our Databases A-Z list) using the terms ZE "academic achievement" AND recess. Be sure to include the ZE and the quotation marks in the search! There were 2 studeis, and Chomitz, V. R., Slining, M. M., McGowan, R. J., Mitchell, S. E., Dawson, G. F., & Hacker, K. A. (2009). Is there a relationship between physical fitness and academic achievement? Positive results from public school children in the northeastern United States. Journal Of School Health, 79(1), 30-37. doi:10.1111/j.1746-1561.2008.00371.x met your criteria best.
That said, if you have a data set, I can't help but think there is a lit review behind the collection of the data set. If you want to schedule an phone or face to face appointment with me to pursue this farther, please contact us.
