To research population health, the best place to start is the Advanced Nursing Research LibGuide. See the resources under the yellow "Population Health" tab - the area at the top of the page includes databases that may be useful to you, including Academic Search Complete, CINAHL PLUS with Full Text, and MEDline with Full Text.

When you search the databases, keep in mind that you may need to search synonyms to find more of what you are looking for. For example, to study the Igbo tribe, you may need to search other names by which they are known such as the Ibo, Iboe, Ebo, Eboe, Heebo, or Eboan culture.

Near the bottom of the Population Health page, there is also a list of websites that have good information (see under the blue header for Populations). To study large populations, the World Health Organization in particular is worth a look.
