The first thing to do is be sure you are logging in to the library resources through our login page, which looks like this:
You should not see a request to log in from GALILEO, or EBSCO, or any other publisher. You should only see the Brenau log in page.
Brenau users must go through the library's authentication to access materials. Have you reached a link that directs you to a login page that does not ask specifically for your Brenau username and 6-digit ID to access the resource (see Libanswer "Why can't I log in to the library database?"), Like the login request below?
(This is an example of a request you may have seen.)
If you have seen a page like this, you are trying to access a resource outside of our authentication. But there may be several possible ways to access what you need.
Go to your class subject's Libguide to find database and journal links: LibGuides. Or, if you know the name of the database you wish to access, go to Databases A-Z to access the database directly: Databases A-Z.
If you know the name of the journal you wish to access, you can look it up by title in the library's online catalog or you can search for it using the library's Citation Finder or list of Journals A-Z.
If you are still unable to find what you need, contact a librarian for further assistance at 770-534-6113 or using Ask a Librarian.
